Kia's 5 Month Pics

It is hard to believe that little Chiara is already five months. She continues to be such a little ray of sunshine.

 

Last Wednesday, she woke up from her nap and was completely inconsolable and unhappy. Her nose was running, and she clearly felt terrible. I was very worried she was coming down with a heavy cold.

However, the next morning she woke up happy with her first little tooth to show for all of her troubles!

Yesterday, she again woke up from her nap completely inconsolable unless in the ergo. Again, her nose was running and she looked like she was getting a heavy cold. So I looked for a tooth, and sure enough, by the time she went to bed, her SECOND tooth had broken through!

She is back to her normal self for the most part this morning. I have heard of so many other babies who have cold and flu like symptoms when they are teething, but neither Kateri or Sebastian ever showed them! And it was surprising to me how quickly the teeth came through, so thankful that did not stretch on for days! Kia may be kid numero tres, but she is the first to have teeth so young. 

Kia also has a little internal alarm clock, and wakes up to eat about 15 minutes before Pat's alarm goes off every morning. 

So thankful for this little light in our lives!
